makes me wonder whether we should bother trying to improve health care at all. We all look for solutions ex post facto; gastric bypasses after the fact instead of getting off one's ass and walking beforehand. Botox after rather than sunscreen before. If we could get a generation to eat healthier and get more exercise, we'd radically decrease our health care costs… but we're Americans, and it's just not our way.
