Snow on Monday Afternoon

Caught a great sunset view of Mt. Ascutney over the barn’s shoulder, during the tail end of a snow shower.

I’m sure the pastors and church staff have better things to do on Christmas Day than open the churches and minister to the faithful, anyhow.
Betcha Jesus would probably rather stay home and rip the wrapping paper off presents than go to boring ol’ church, too.

So Kate and I returned home to New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon, just in time to have some socializing with Ted and spend some portion of the weekend Out And About. (Saturday night, dinner with John and Mike and Ted, Sunday night dinner at Molly’s, same crew, after seeing Aeon Flux °.)

We got home this afternoon at 3:30, only about 15 hours later than we thought we’d be arriving. (Thanks to the Dep’t of Immigration and USAir for nearly doubling the return trip’s length.)
