GRE: complete. Felt decent about the writing section, though I won’t know the results for a couple of weeks. Despite getting great scores on the verbal section of the practice tests, I struggled a bit on the for-real thing and wound up with a “pretty good” score, there. Consistent with my experience on the math section of the practice tests, I did the first two-thirds of the math section in three-quarters of the time, leaving me to do the last problems at a headlong sprint. Bizarrely, I got a great score on the math section (better than the verbal), leaving me vaguely worried that admissions departments will think I’m primarily a math dweeb… but not too worried. Certainly not worried enough to go through the hassle of taking the thing again.
