I Want Three Lives

On the subway every day I get so bored, I fall asleep
I sometimes wish for endless streams of ninjas
My boss is down on me -- tells me to punch the clock
if we were on big flying birds I'd knock him right down off his rock

In the morning my espresso sure does perk me up
it's not quite as good as a big round glowing power dot
The IRS turns blue -- They'd frown and run away
I'd eat them all and if I missed I'd get back in, a quarter a play

  I want three lives
  My fridge is empty
  I want three lives
I guess someone shot the food

City driving's fine but it's dull as paint and way too slow
let me onto racetracks where the skies are always perfect blue
My engine hums and roars -- I barely touch the ground
But when I try this on the Pike the cops still tell me to slow down

My boxing skills have never been the greatest
My bandaid box is always running empty
But with an armored power suit, that mugger wouldn't get me down
I'd save the princess and the jewels and only trash most of downtown

  I want three lives
  I have no girlfriend
  I want three lives
I'll bet some gorilla's got her

I'm a really nice guy and I keep my room neat
I help girl scouts and grandmothers to cross the street
My voice stays low and my demeanor cool
but when I'm at the DMV in line for a fool
who's telling me I haven't got the forms it takes
and he hasn't got the time to go and fix my mistakes
and something inside me gets tight and breaks, yelling

      finish him

      Finish Him

      FINISH HIM

(another verse and chorus)
