quiet, sunny day
I’m sitting in New Hampshire, working on my laptop and glancing out the window across my friend John’s rolling hillside view. While not Montana, New Hampshire is “Totally Adequate Sky Country,” and the clouds rollerblade quickly, especially on breezy days like today.
Working from home still works pretty well – while my attention wanders occasionally, I don’t think it’s any worse than I was while in the office.
Kate and I have substantially settled into the honey-wood-and-slate of John’s guest house – it’s going to be odd to take our short trip back down to Philadelphia to pack up and move, come July 31st.
Mike is sitting down by the second pond, probably 200 yards away, surrounded by the two adult geese and the 6 adolescent goslings. He looks for all the world like he’s giving a lecture.
