* A giant head of cauliflower from the farmers' market, cut up, tossed with oil, salt and pepper, a finely minced onion, and several tablespoons of spicy curry powder. Roasted in a 425 degree oven for about 45 minutes. Even Kate, who hasn't been a particular fan of cauliflower in the past, said she liked it. * Finally took the 10 minutes to make a little batch of mayonnaise: useful for salmon burgers, artichokes, sandwiches... * Artichokes! * Honeycrisp apples, same farmers' market.
