Director, reporter, music-picker
I directed today’s broadcast, and had a piece in the first half. Aside from one bobble only someone on our staff would detect, and one audible bobble (when the second newscaster jumped the gun and came in early) the show ran remarkably smoothly and precisely to time.
In the heat of the broadcast, I didn’t hear anything but the volume and timbre of how the show was running – now, sitting at home with Kate, listening to the show and having dinner at 9:45, I’m struck by just how frickin’ good my classmates are. There are some seriously good radio pieces here.
