Back before the rains (or, as we’re calling them now, The Rains) came, Kate and I went for an evening walk. I caught her reflection in a window as we came back.

    At first i didn’t see kate… i searched and there she was. But I was distracted by the orange glow reflected in the window. It reminded me of a thing I once knew and loved… a thing that glowed warm and bright… a thing from before The Rains… hmmm, sweet, sweet memories.
