stating the obvious

Recently overheard in a public toilet:

"Ohmigawd!  It smells like somebody took a crap in here!  No, really!"

(Unfortunately, I can't duplicate here her loud tone of wounded outrage
and shock, nor the hysterical laughter of her companion.)
